2011 Vendor Information Sheet


      Our 2011 Screening Event was held on April 2.

We are not accepting any other new vendors this year.

The Redmond Saturday Market is proud to be the oldest Eastside Open Air Market and the sixth longest running Market in the State of Washington. The Redmond Saturday Market has been in continuous operation every summer since 1976. This year will mark our 36th season. We have a membership of 130 vendors and an average attendance of 80 vendors per week.

MARKET SEASON: First Saturday in May (May 7th) through last Saturday in October (29th) for a total of 26 weeks. Vendors are not required to participate every Saturday, but are encouraged to participate at least six times during the season. Reservations are required at least one week in advance for vendors who do not have a permanent space.

MARKET HOURS: 9:00 AM TO 3:00 PM  We do not allow any sales prior to our 9:00 am start time. The 9:00 am start time begins when the horn is blown. All vendors must arrive no later than 8:15 am and must be set up by 8:45 am.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
1.  Produce must be farm fresh and grown in Washington.
2.  Plants and flowers must be grown in Washington.
3.  Crafts must be handcrafted and created in Washington State by the vendor and must be screened at our screening process, prior to being accepted as a member into our Market.    
4.  Processed Foods must be made in a certified kitchen and meet all Health Department requirements.
Vendors must obtain all required licenses and permits from the King County Health Department, and must have proof of liability insurance.
