Redmond Saturday Market
2010 Vendor Information Sheet
MARKET SEASON: First Saturday in May (May 2nd) through last Saturday in October (31st) for a total of 26 weeks. Vendors are not required to participate every Saturday, but must participate at least six times during the season to keep their membership active. Reservations are required at least one week in advance for vendors who do not have a permanent space.
MARKET HOURS: 9:00 AM TO 3:00 PM We do not allow any sales prior to our 9:00 am start time. The 9:00 am start time begins when the horn is blown. All vendors must arrive no later than 8:15 am and must be set up by 8:45 am.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
1. Produce must be farm fresh and grown in Washington.
2. Plants and flowers must be grown in Washington.
3. Crafts must be handcrafted and created in Washington State by the vendor and must be screened at our screening process, prior to being accepted as a member into our Market.
4. Processed Foods must be made in a certified kitchen and meet all Health Department requirements.
Vendors must obtain all required licenses and permits from the King County Health Department, and must have proof of liability insurance.
SCREENING DATE: No screening this year The 2010 season is full - no new vendors in 2010!
SCREENING LOCATION: Old Redmond Schoolhouse - 16600 NE 80th St. Redmond, Wa.
HOURS OF SCREENING: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
SCREENING FEE: $15.00 due at time of screening
Additional Requirements:Prospective vendors should bring a good representation of the items you wish to sell at the market. In addition you are required to provide (2) color photos of your product and (1) color photo of your booth. Please label photos on the back with your name and business. Pictures must correspond with product described on application and in photos. Selection of vendors are based on a point system for quality, design, workmanship, presentation and originality. You will be notified within one week if you are accepted or not. Please note that submitting an application and attending the screening does not guarantee acceptance into our market. Also note that we DO NOTprovide applications in advance of our screening event.
The Redmond Saturday Market is proud to be the oldest Eastside Open Air Market and the sixth longest running Market in the State of Washington. The Redmond Saturday Market has been in continuous operation every summer since 1976. This year will mark our 35th season. We have a membership of 130 vendors and an average attendance of 80 vendors per week.
